History

Feet for life began in 1983 as a Stride Rite concept store specializing in quality children’s footwear fit by trained professionals. In 1998, the business expanded to include adult Birkenstock and New Balance… two popular brands it already carried in kids that offered multiple widths for difficult to fit feet.

During the next few years, several other high-quality adults Domestic and European brands were added resulting in a name change to our current name… feet for life. On July 18th, 2000, feet for life was registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Today feet for life carries over 40 brands such as Birkenstock, Ugg, Vionic, Alegria, Rockport & Fit Flop, just to name a few. We offer our customers, a variety of choices to address their individual footwear needs. With 40 years in the shoe business, owner John Parker continues to innovate with the most advanced technological footwear and orthotics available today. He believes that many foot problems can be alleviated or eliminated with orthopedic & anatomically enhanced footwear and/or orthotics.
